Poet ERA.  ERAVI ( R.RAVI ) is working as Assistant Tourist Officer in Government of Tamil Nadu Tourism.
District Collector presented the best government employee award at Republic Day on 26.01.1992. 
 The Helm of ‘Tamil bee' Professor Ira.  Mohan, Poet Ravi has spoken some awareness debates, His speeches have been aired on various television channels, including Podhigai Television.
His interviews have been broadcast on televisions such as 'Podhigai Tv', 'Jaya Tv' and 'Kalaignar Tv'.

He has got awarded by some titles such as 'Haikku Thilagam', 'kaviyaruvi', 'kavimurasu' by various literary associations.
His haiku poems are in the textbooks of Coimbatore Bharatiyaar University, Trichy Bharathidasan University, Madurai Kamarasa University, Madurai Thiagarajar College, Trichy Holy Cross Girls College, Virudhunagar Vannia Perumal Girls College.  
Many millions of readers have seen kavimalar.com, eraeravi.blogspot.  In addition to being the author of various web sites, Ravi is also writing poetry, essay and book reviews In the name of Facebook 'RRAVIRAVI'. 
His work is featured on the world famous Tamil websites.  
It is noteworthy that his 10 haiku poems have been featured in the Tamil haiku thousand book published by Sahitya Akademi, compiled by ‘Tamil Bee’ Ira.Mohan.
The Novel Writers' Association has selected his' Haiku Poetry 'as the best book; The award was presented by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Puducherry at the Governor's House in the presence of the Governor of Puducherry.  
Ravi has won the World Poetry Competition twice conducted by ‘London Sudaroli Veliyeettu Kazhagam’.
Ravi has received the award 'Valarum kalaignar' from Dr.G.Gnanasambandhan in the Anniversary Celebration of Madurai Humour Club. 
Ravi has won Prize in poetry competition titled ‘Tamilum Ariviyalum’ by Kanini Tamizh Sangam held at Madurai.
The Third Year BA Tamil Student Mr. L.Selvankumar (Visually Handicapped) has Submitted the Dissertation titled ‘Ira. Raviyin Haikoo kavithaigalil Panmugapparvai’ in Madurai Vellaichamy Nadar College. 
Mr. Le. Sivasankar has submitted M.Phil thesis titled ‘Kavignar Era. Raviyin Haikoo Kavithaigal guided by Prof.M.Pandi at the Historical Excellence Karaikudi Alagappa University.
He was  proud to spoke  at Arulmigu Meenakshi Governors College, Lady doak College and Meenakshi Matriculation Higher Secondary School on 15 .10 .2015 on the Birthday of Abdul Kalam,  
Honorable Justice Vallinayagam presented the award to ravi  titled ‘Kalaimamani vikraman’ in the anniversary of Kavithai Uravu Journal.
Tamil Orator Silamboli chellappan presented the award ‘Ezhutholai’ to ravi with the celebration of Kavingnar Erode Tamilanban 80th birthday held by Kavimugil Arakattalai.
'kaviyamutam' Written by poet Era.Ravi  hardly got the second prize in the state level competition by ‘Kavithai Uravu’ for the best book. 
Sentamizh foundation committee appreciated poet ravi for his presentation of Poem In Sentamizh Collge on 27.05.2017 
'Haiku Chemmal' award was presented to Ravi by  ‘Kanthagapookkal’ & ‘Neelanilaa’ in the Haiku Centenary Celebration held on 08.10.2017 at Sivakasi.
'Thulippaa Sudar' award was presented to Ravi by  ‘Moovadi’, ‘MInmini’, & ‘Thulippaa’ Magazines in the Thulipaa Centenary Celebration held on 15.10.2017 at Puduchery.
The Book 'Haiku Ula' written by Ravi has won special Prize in the Haiku Book Competition conducted by the Kannimara Library Reader's Circle and the All India Tamil Writers' Association. 
Minister K.Pandiyarajan has given  the ‘Bharathi Award’ to Ravi at the five-day event held at the World Tamil Research Institute in Chennai on 29.07.2018.
The poet Ira. Ravi’s  self-confident Haiku poems in Haikoo Ula are featured in the textbook of the Coimbatore Bharatiyar University.  
The poet Ira. Ravi’s  Book ‘Manathil Haikoo’ is featured in the textbook of the Thirumalai Nayakar College, Madurai. 
Cash Prize three thousand and the award ‘Porkizhi’ presented to the book 'Haiku 500' in the  'Podhigai Minnal' 2019 anniversary’s books competition.
